Our Story
Peachtree Kitchen opened in 2018 with a simple mission: serve elevated American comfort food using the freshest local ingredients. What started as a dream between childhood friends Chef Marcus Williams and Restaurant Manager Jessica Chen has grown into Gwinnett County’s favorite neighborhood restaurant.
We believe that great food doesn’t have to be complicated—it just has to be made with care. That’s why we partner with local farms and suppliers, ensuring that every dish showcases the best ingredients our region has to offer.
From our famous shrimp & grits to our weekend brunch, every plate tells a story of Southern hospitality and culinary passion.
Meet Chef Marcus Williams
Chef Marcus grew up in Atlanta, learning to cook from his grandmother in her Decatur kitchen. After culinary school and stints at acclaimed restaurants in Charleston and Nashville, he returned home to Georgia with a mission: bring elevated Southern cuisine to his own community.
“I wanted to create a place where families could gather over a great meal made with ingredients from our own backyard,” says Chef Marcus. “Peachtree Kitchen is that place.”
Chef Marcus’s cooking has been featured in Atlanta Magazine, Eater Atlanta, and the Atlanta Journal-Constitution.
